Due to the global mask shortage caused by Covid19, Copper masks that can be printed with 3D printers are attracting attention. A 3D printer company in Chile has developed a way to produce a copper mask using a 3D printer to overcome the mask shortage. Copper is known to have antibacterial properties, and this mask can be reused after disinfection and cleaning.
It takes about 5 hours to print the mask, and even if it's not expensive, if you have a 3D printer at home, you can download and print a design source for free from the company's website. According to this company's claim, the number of mask design downloads has already reached 5 million.
